Space

SPACE signed to Gut Records in 1995, the bands first release was Money/Kill Me that launched the band in the UK, the follow singles taken from the Spiders album where Neighbourhood, Female of the Species, Me and You Vs the World and Dark Clouds, the band had chart success with both the singles and the Album which achieved double platinum sales in the UK alone.

The band signed various record deals around the world with the USA supremo Doug Morris signing the band to its biggest record deal with Universal Records for the USA and Canada.
The bands second album Tin Planet was released in 1998 with singles Avenging Angels, The Ballad of Tom Jones and Begin being released, the album went straight into the charts at no6 and again attained double platinum status in the UK.
The bands third album Love You More than Football was shelved by Gut Records shortly before the label closed down, the album would finally be released as part of the anthology album boxset released by Pheonix Music.
Demon Records/BBC Music released both Spiders and Tin Planet albums on coloured vinyl to celebrate the 25th Anniversary’s of the records first release in the UK.
The band also released albums Attack of the Mutant 50ft Kebab, Give me Your Future, with Music For Pleasure Music for Pain being released in December 2022, marking the bands 7th Studio Album.
The band are really happy with the new album which has been recorded in the bands Liverpool Studio and mastered at Abbey Road Studios, the record was engineered and produced by Phil Hartley and co produced by the rest of the band, the record marks a true return to the earlier song writing of the bands early works on Spiders and Tin Planet
The band have sold over 5 million records worldwide to date and continue to tour Live in the UK and international in 2023
The bands 1990’s hit Female of the Species making the top of the album charts with the “TFI Album” – (Number 1 in June 2015) and the 2009 re-release of the of the single achieved a silver award with BPI.
